1 published guide · verified against official sources
Who does what in Sri Lankan drone regulation: the regulator, the security establishment and the site authorities every operator may need to deal with.
Quick answer
The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka regulates drones and issues approvals. The Ministry of Defence issues security clearances. The Department of Archaeology and the Department of Wildlife Conservation control heritage and protected natural sites, while the Ministry of Defence, the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, the Import and Export Control Department and Sri Lanka Customs govern imports.
